SERIOUSLY STYLISH ELOPEMENT SESSION IN ŠIBENIK: ALINA & VLAD

How did you two meet?
Alina: We met when we were in high school. It was love at first sight. We have been dating for over 8 years when Vlad decided to propose.
Tell us about your engagement.
Alina: Vlad had planned a secret engagement proposal in one gorgeous countryside hotel. I work as a model. Vlad had organized a new shooting campaign for me where I would be the leading model. For me it was another exciting campaign in which I gladly agreed to participate. An abundance of my favorite flowers, candles, and music created a one-of-a-kind romantic atmosphere which looked very much like a fairy tale. I was participating in the campaign not knowing it was all made for me by my boyfriend. And only when I saw Vlad approaching me wearing a suit I realized what this campaign was really about. He went down on one knee and I of course said – Yes!
From the beginning the campaign was photographed and videotaped. Thanks to that, now we have beautiful memories of that amazing day on film and in an album.
What made you choose Croatia as your elopement shoot & honeymoon destination?
Alina: Croatia is famous worldwide for its natural beauty. But for us, this is an unusual place with magical nature and rich heritage, excellent food and friendly people. To have a wedding photoshoot and honeymoon in Croatia was our dream that came true. We’ll definitely be back to Croatia again in the future.
Was Šibenik your first choice of destination?
Alina: We chose D-Resort Šibenik for our wedding photoshoot because it’s a very stylish place. Its architecture impressed us a lot. It was an obvious choice for a photoshoot once we saw this place. We are grateful to talented photographer Katarina Tati and to this wonderful place for these amazing photos.
