Its history dates back to the 13th century and it was rebuilt in 1899. under the name Spa Hotel Empress Elisabeth. The Austrian Empress Sisi was a generous patron of the construction of the hotel and she was honoured in the new rebrand and remodelling of the hotel in 2019.
