Vortex Strings is a women’s string quartet founded in 2016. in Zagreb. The quartet consists of young artists with education in classical music, who explore new and modern sounds on string instruments. Their mission is to unite fashion, intellect, sophistication, power and music within their performance. The repertoire they play is quite versatile: from classical hits and waltzes through seductive tango, jazz and evergreen to energizing pop and rock music arrangements. Truly covering all tastes in music!
In a short period of time, Vortex Strings have become one of the most wanted performance acts in this part of Europe and beyond. One of their most famous performances took place at the opening of Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia in 2018. In addition to concerts, they also perform at movie festivals, expos, business gatherings, private parties and, of course, weddings. Offering a wide range of ensembles, from solo violoncello to chamber orchestra, as well as the possibility to select the ensemble according to your needs and wishes, we truly believe they make for a unique entertainment act for your special day.
