Recently we’ve had the pleasure of writing about a Real Wedding that took place last summer on the dreamy island of Koločep next to Dubrovnik. You might remember the magical reception venue next to the sea – Villa Rose.
Today we bring you the story of this magical place. A story which started with romance almost a hundred years ago and continues with romance ever since. Our Venue of the Week is Villa Rose.
A place for romance
Villa Rose, a 1930’s beauty perched on a seaside rock , is settled among ancient pines and blue hues of the Adriatic at the entrance to the port of Donje Čelo. A symbol of true love, it was a gift from a wealthy Dubrovnik merchant to his beloved wife. It has been inspiring romance ever since, first as a private villa and these days as a restaurant and one of the most sought after wedding venues in Croatia.
