ISTRIA
VILLA POLESINI
Located on the shores of the Istrian peninsula, in the seaside town of Poreč, this historic villa is truly stunning. MAŠKIN ISLAND
Just a little further south, on a small island off the coast of Rovinj you can find this gorgeous outdoor ceremony location. The stunning monument, surrounded by a perfectly manicured park with cypress trees and Mediterranean vegetation is one of the most popular ceremony locations in this part of Istria and the Adriatic. Following the ceremony, the wedding reception can take place in a castle located on the connecting island. How magical does that sound?
SVETA STIJENA
Literal translation of the name of this beautiful location in Pula is “Holy rock” and we believe it describes the vibe of the place perfectly. Many couples have said their I do’s in this magical place with the most beautiful sunset in the background.
CENTRAL DALMATIA
VILLA DALMACIJA
This beautiful villa on the coast of Split has a great historical significance. Throughout its history, it hosted many famous and important people. The private pier in front of the villa makes for an ideal ceremony location, overlooking the islands of Brač and Šolta. Make sure to enquire on time, as this venue often gets booked 2 or even 3 years in advance.
SUSTIPAN
A stunning location close to Split city centre, this walled garden has a lovely little gazebo perfect for intimate ceremonies overlooking the sea. If you imagine you dream wedding ceremony surrounded by nature and the scent of pine trees, this quiet location with beautiful views might just be ideal for you.
ST. MARK'S CHURCH COURTYARD
Hidden away in a courtyard of a former church belonging to a Dominican monastery, this ceremony location is a true historic gem. This centuries old park provides a perfect backdrop for your wedding vows. Although this is a church courtyard, keep in mind that religious ceremonies cannot be performed here.
FORT GEORGE
Located on the island of Vis, this historic fortress takes you back to ancient forgotten times. If you are a lover of history and sunsets, there is no better wedding venue for you. ST. LAWRENCE FORT
Another fortress venue, this time in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. Fort Lovrijenac is quite famous for its role in the hit series Game of Thrones but is even more famous for the many weddings that took place there. It offers stunning views over old town Dubrovnik and the atmosphere here can hardly be described.
SPONZA PALACE
Probably the most popular ceremony location for destination weddings in Croatia – the Sponza Palace in Dubrovnik. A historic building that can easily be transformed to something magical. It is also suitable for wedding receptions, but quite in demand, so make sure to enquire early.
VIŠNJICA
The southern-most venue on our list is the beautiful Višnjica venue, with stunning views of Dubrovnik old town. For those couples that want to have stunning wedding photos and leave their guests speechless this is the ideal ceremony and reception venue.
